BioCare Aphid and Whitefly Traps (Model S1501) help you control aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, thrips, and other small flying insects that can damage plants in your home, garden, and greenhouse. To trap pests, place the sticky traps near where insects have been seen. Flying insects will be attracted to the yellow color of the traps and become stuck in the glue.Use one yellow sticky trap for four plants, or for heavy infestations, place one trap at the base and one trap at the crown of each plant. Place traps early in the season to prevent infestations from establishing. Gridlines on the sticky traps help you estimate the number of insects in the infestation.These non-toxic sticky traps contain no pesticides and are safe to use around kids, pets, and food. Long-term use of the aphid and whitefly traps will reduce troubling infestations over time. Replace the traps after three months or sooner if full.
